Duck Baby Shower Cake

So, I had a request for a baby shower cake with little ducks on it from a girl named Angie.  I was actually sent a picture of what Angie wanted, so I tried to replicate it.

I wasn't about to find actual rubber duckies.  Everywhere I went was sold out.  Hard to believe such a simple thing was so hard to find, huh?  But thankfully, I found these little plastic ducks and I think they worked out well.

The cake is white cake covered in buttercream.  I smoothed the buttercream using the "Viva Method."  And of course, the accents are fondant.

I even made cute little pink bows to go on the plastic ducks.

I'm so glad this cake turned out this cute!
