Buttercream Icing
1 cup Crisco
2-4 tbsp clear vanilla extract
4 cups confectioner's sugar
water (as needed)
Mix Crisco and vanilla extract in a large bowl with electric mixer. Mix in confectioner's sugar one cup at a time. If you icing is too stiff, slowly add water until desired stiffness. Enjoy!
Chocolate Buttercream Icing
1 cup Crisco
4 tbsp clear vanilla extract
3 tbsp milk
3/4 cup cocoa powder
4 cups confectioner's sugar
water (as needed)
Mix Crisco, vanilla extract and milk in a large bowl with electric mixer. Mix in cocoa powder. Mix in confectioner's sugar one cup at a time. If icing is too stiff, slowly add water until desired stiffness is reached.
Marshmallow Fondant
1 - 16 oz bag mini marshmallows
1 - 2 lb bag confectioner's sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
4 tbsp water
Add bag of mini marshmallows in a large microwave safe bowl. Place in microwave for 1 - 1 1/2 minutes. Add vanilla and water and stir. Add confectioner's sugar one cup at a time, saving the last cup of sugar for kneading. Once ready to knead, pour the last cup of sugar onto the counter. Add your fondant mixture. Knead for several minutes until firm and you feel no lumps. Place in refridgerator over night or in the freezer for at least one hour if you're in a hurry. Let stand to room temperature before using.
